Gloves for People with Scleroderma
I believe you should contact the Scleroderma Foundation at http://www.scleroderma.org Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease that affects about 300,000 people in the USA. It causes hardening of the skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. There is no known cause and no known cure although there are meds which can be used to help with symptoms.Your gloves were first discovered by my friend who bought them from QVC. I keep a pair in every room, a couple of pairs in my car. and anywhere where I will be working where my hands could get injured. The hands are greatly affected by swelling, stiffness, and are easily injured with cuts etc. These often do not want to heal and if they don't heal one can have to have part of the finger [or toe] amputated. The Scleroderma Foundation often reviews products in their magazine and I think that these gloves would be helpful to anyone who has this rare disease. You may contact me if you have questions.
